During 2006 we held an appeal to replace our old practice nets with new ones. This was amazingly successful and the very generous contributions from villagers and local businesses have had a positive effect and are greatly appreciated. THANK YOU
Further sponsorship has been given by local businesses since then helping us to provide even better facilities at the club such as wicket covers, improved kit and practice equipment. In particular, we have been able to begin training sessions for junior cricketers with qualified coaches and proper junior equipment.
The nets and covers have been used throughout the recent seasons and have been of great benefit to the club. This together with the coaching means we have already seen quite a few youngsters joining in the practice sessions and playing for the teams helping to secure the future of the club as we move forward.
