About the Club

NCCC has been in existence for many years and has previously played at Fairfield and Newport Road in the village and also at Hotham Hall.  The club moved to the present ground in [1974] when the new playing fields were constructed.  In the 1980’s the new clubhouse was constructed for the cricket and football clubs and a sports and social club was formed. View the History page.
The facilities at the club are excellent and include full changing rooms, showers and a large bar area. View more details on the Sports and Social club here.

Currently, two teams play at the club one on Saturdays in the York Vale Cricket League and the other on Tuesday evenings in the Howdenshire League.  Practice sessions are held on Thursday evenings.  For 2008, Welton Cricket Club have been given permission to use the ground on alternative Saturdays for their junior team.

The general meeting of members of the club is held in September and a presentation evening open to all players and visitors is held in April with a raffle and sports quiz.

Please feel free to contact any member of the club if you would like more information or would like to play cricket at North Cave.
